| Go for it !!! i have just read the entire GB site and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it build it in ply and epoxy it is not rocket science and easy to work with and correct mistakes the hull and deck building process is affordable fitting out is costly enjoy !!!! i am an old fart at it - and enjoy every moment of it ![]() |

| my boat Plywood would make sense except for two things. One is where this boat will be used,blue water,It will be in the Caribbean a lot as well as south pacific(lots of coral reefs)But the main reason is I will be retiring to this boat.And I like the idea of retiring to steel more than to wood/fiberglass.
