| Amazingly, I used 5200 with some good results. Drill holes to act as physical attachment points and to prevent further cracking. |

| Most automobile bumper covers are polyproplene. There is a two part epoxy that is made for repairing them, that is more flexible than typical epoxy and is deisgned to stick to polyproplene. If you used that with a fiberglass patch you could probably repair a crack or weak point or crack with that. |

| Being stupid but having posted a question about polyethelene roto moulded boats ..PE am I right in thinking that this craking/UV problem is restricted to PP or is it also a problem with PE ...the makers say not. |

| Both PE and PP degrade under UV exposure. TAP Plastic is offering an adhesive, which they say, is suitable for bonding polypropylene. http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=435& I have no personal experience using it, nor am I affiliated with TAP. |
