Rebuilding Boat Deck

How hard would it be to change the arrangement of the deck of a fiberglass boat. ie from a twin console to a center console and adding and deleting things ie seets storage compartments etc

It depends on the boat and your level of fiberglass skill and tools / facilities available and the level of finish you require on the finished product. It could be as "simple" as removing all controls, cutting out the unwanted structures, creating a plug/mold, molding a new console, glassing it in place and finishing the joint, and then redoing all the controls. Fiberglass is fairly forgiving on non-critical structures (if you make a mistake you can usually fix it at the expense of a little extra weight). On the other hand, if you're moving molded in seating and lots of hatches and storage as well as the consoles, this might mean creating an entire deck mold, which is definitely not a small project, but it's still doable if you want to do it badly enough. A description of the boat (and some pictures) and more specific objectives would be helpful. I wouldn't plan on doing it in less than 40 hours...
