| Power Launch Plans? Has anyone run across any PLANS for a power-launch, like 18' long, OB displacement. Stitch & Glue preferred. Would like one with deep freeboard, 18' long LOA, displacement hull, one that could be powered by a Yamaha 9.9 hi-trust long-shaft OB. The "power launch" I'm searching for, would look a bit like one of those WWII inboard launches that one saw, coming and going from navy ships - filled with sailors. Eventually, would want to build one with a "pilot house", for getting out of bad weather, and for short overnights. Fred NC ![]() |

| You might try this site they may be able to help. I haven’t seen many stitch-an-glue launches. This one is a beauty, and I’m sure you could drop an OB in a well. Elliott Bay Steam Launch Co. Gary ![]() |

| Yes - looking for "launch" plans. I'm about to give up on the idea of finding what I have ideas for. Devlin has a "Dipper" displacement boat - if could stretch her beyond her 16'8" length - she'd have a chance. If you recall seeing those "motor launches" that took sailors back & forth from US Navy ship ...... kinda deep, nice beam, theirs had inboards. .....oh well, nice try thanks fred |

| I can design a launch for you. Stitch and glue can work OK. Are you thinking of a multichine or a vee bottom?
