| Old Primer - Blast or Revive? I am contemplating the fitting out of a steel hull which was blasted and primed over ten years ago, condition is good but I know that the primer is way past time limit for overcoating. My question is in two parts, firstly is it possible to revive the primer without having to reblast and secondly, if blating is necessary does that have to be back to metal or would brush blasting be sufficient? Advice gratefully received. Matt |

| If you are carful, it is possible to etch the old paint with a blaster. It is way faster than sanding.
