| Need some help on recently purchased 12 ft. aluminum boat Hey guys, just bought this boat from someone. 12 ft. aluminum. The back is pretty banged up, when i attach my 4hp mariner i feels like its very close to snapping the stern completely off. i am a novice and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about restoring the back or any suggestions on alternatives. Thanks, Steve ![]() |

| The wood needs replacing. Take the old board out and set the new one on liquid nails. Bolt and screw it like it was. That should solve your problem
