Cannon Ball Run character you mentioned was Jack Elam. He was one of English-speaking North America's mosty beloved character actors who played sidekicks and villains equally well. I believe his last show was called "Struck by Lightning".

I will enjoy to see the finished work when you land in Florida.

Florida? which one? Florida, Western Australia 6210?, or a resort on the gold Coast of SE Queensland?, there are a few other more obscure references plus some persistent reference to some place in USA wherever that is

Open Google Earth and search for the Coral Sea, I will probably be in the region os the lands surrounding that body of water... That is far enough...

Rather arrogant of me to imagine anyone would assume the little peninsula located 90 miles north of Castro's Utopia.

Nah, just a small tongue stuck in a cheek - - **** it was difficult to find other "Florida's"... About 10000 references selling Australian cattle dogs in Florida (your region - the one near paradise/Cuba)

Australian (shepherd) dogs are very popular here.

Mas you got what 13 weeks to launch. Im gonna start taking bets you dont make it.

I mean you got some wire in it yet hatches, toilet, electronics, head linings.

Hows it go now? a hull is 10% of the cost and 10% of the time and the fit out is 90% of the cost and 90% of the time!!! something like that.

Err, - - I may not make it and the team are going for a xmas break...... Breast laid plans etc.. etc..

Most of the difficult hatches are done... The mini-keels have to be made and fitted after the boat is on the trailer - Stop trying to make me panic - she will be ready when she is ready, as with many good females, when she is ready... The saloon/coach-house is waiting on revised drawings - ?Your powercat?, is being drawn first... and for me, a few other top secret options are being worked up by Bob Oram...

Rather than bets how about sympathy donations? - - - just think of my emotional state... and the need for alcoholic 'soothing lotion' - the drinkable stuff - for the stomach...

dont let anything rush you Mass. you got plenty of time and besides Ive seen to many people ruin a perfectly good project by trying to rush the details at the end. Kinda makes or breaks a good build.

cheers
B

have fun with it and relax

Thanks Boston, I fully intend to do just that... Frosty is the tongue-in-cheek-master-of-drivel, and, out of respect and habit, seem to respond somewhat in that vein...
