Mini-keels going on later, else no way to get the boat out of the shed, even with removing the sections at the front of the shed, will JUST squeeze it out...

Have you decided how you will calculate the water line? Or does it come with the plans and you add ---say, about, somewhere near 1/2 an inch for the washing machine and battery bank.

Speaking from experience you will never get it spot on first time --close, even damn close but---.

The waterline at designed displacement is marked on the temporary frames. But you'd normally antifoul around 100mm higher than that anyway, just to allow for wave slop.

Well, the team have excelled, and exceeded all expectation... The starboard hull could show what can be done, I guess a bit more bog/undercoat and a finish that should look like polished diamond...

A visit by Bob Oram has helped resolve many concerns and further instilled the dictum "Become paranoid on weight issues" and some more drawings and engineering data in the next month or so - Top secret stuff , - so be patient and see it when it is built...

The team are into the sanding/bogging stuff so - - "nothing to see here, move on now", is all I can offer for the moment... I will be posting images as and when there are changes to report/post...

My lovely genset is on the market for AU$11,000 pick up from build site... PM me if you are interested and that will include "first start" commissioning by Wattagan.... I will have to look for a smaller - - by 15cm in height system - -

Standby option is to use the 22hp Kubota 6KW system as standby power in our new home as we are installing solar HWS and 20 PV panels for co-gen power.... (Kubota and batteries will mean we can go offline totally if that need ever arises...)

Next up 3 of unusual tools (digital scales - wrapped in a plastic bag for protection, mixing drill - not wrapped in plastic, lasts for about 4 to 6 months, and 'disposable' buckets, 700ml 'disposable' cups - to mix in, disposable latex gloves - OHS equipment - or to pretend one is a proctologist - except none of us looks scary enough to play the "Cannon-ball Run" character, - and stuff, then 2 of the boat - diagonally opposite corners...
