My first own steel boat :)

After making a few boat... decide to make one for myself... its good againt 2010 I hope... but while it carry cargo trans-island visit... will not be the last I hope...

Any critique good or bad will be an input for me... dont be shy... thx

I've taken your photo and have distorted it a bit, to eliminate the perspective and so obtain a horizontal keel and sheer lines. Sorry if your boat now looks like it has had a frontal crash against a concrete wall , but I wanted to see the line of sight of the helmsman, so the actual geometrical proportions of the ship are not so important.

The result is indicated by the red lines... Looks like the poor guy (you? ) sees nothing but the loading ramp in front of him.
So, what is the actual front visibility from the helmstation?

Thx... I thought the same at first... but this could be a direct result of a wide angle lens and the boat pic taken from my position on a steep slope hill... I built a couple and the helm view are ok...

I didnt build this alone... LOL
