Look at 4.15 to 6.00 in the video he immediately comments that washboards were a mistake.

Would just like to add that Ming Ming II is my class of yacht, the Achilles 24.... :)

I really enjoy Roger's videos. I particularly like the one where he gives his life story in the path to Mingming II.

With a rubber seal on the inner coamings you have the option to produce a from the inside operated dog down system on a sliding hatch . .

P.S. - Hmmm, only have to find a solution for above the companionway, that is if there is such a thing as a companionway on Manie's TEN . . ? ?

If I were Roger with Mng Ming, I think I would have costed a domed perspex hatch - best of both worlds??

That looks good. Roger talked alot about hatches in his talk, and he had tried something similar with an inner and an outer and it wasn't enough, but I don't know if he went the next step of using a rubber seal and dogging it down.
(dog not dodge Angie. I think it's like fire dogs, they are shaped like little doggie heads. ;-) )

From 00 min. 21 sec. to 00 min. 28 sec. Roger tells the the talk is in two parts and the first part is one hour. So above we only have the first part, which is 56 min. 56 sec.

From 56 min. 45 sec. to 56 min. 55 sec. Roger tells to come back after the break with videos and time for more questions.

Does anyone know if (or where) there's a video posted of the second hour of this public talk ?

Maybe part II of the public talk mostly contains some of the videos we can find here, so we miss only the public's questions and Roger's answers if part II isn't published . . ? ?

Do you have a link of that one ?

I've not yet seen them all, and will give that one priority . . :)

Or do you mean Roger's above public talk part 1 ?

Yes, but I haven't seen them all yet , but I did look for part II of Roger's public talk (held at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club at Burnham-on-Crouch on February 1, 2014) which I haven't found . . :(

See the below first YouTube link which gives updated results, as does the second...

From the thread ‘‘Manie's Microcruiser’’ post #920 (03-05-2014)
Here the above first YouTube link without ‘‘II’’ : [IMG] Mingming
