| joins I have designed a 5m catamaran and I am now looking for a fibre glass manufacture to laminate the hulls. I plan to meet the manufacture and talk about the specifactions of the cat. can anyone some different methods of joining the deck to the hull? or can anyone give me some websites that is related to this issue. I knw that when I go to the manufature they will give me some examples of joining the hull to the deck, but I would like to have a good idea before i meet them. I have bought a very impresive fibreglass book but the joins on the book would not interest me at all! also does anyone know the method that the spitfire, dart catamaran use to join the hulls? thanks for all the help |

| If you are based in Wales then the best person to speak to is John at stealth Marine He is now based in Pembrokeshire. http://www.stealthmarine.co.uk/ Modern Cats don't join hull to deck but are instead joined left to right using an internal flange, for some good examples see http://a-class.org.nz/photos_tech.htm Good luck Gareth www.fourhulls.com |
