I/O or vee drives?

    2 1980 Crusader 270 rebuilds (Chevy 350), 1 block was no good, no good heads (raw water cooled).
    1 1969 4 bolt main 350 block standard bore (came out of my old truck)- free (sorta)

    2 sets Sealed Power competition main bearings $93.90

    2 sets Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, flat top .030 over $346.78

    1 Comp Cams camshaft w/ lifters with same lift, duration, and lobe separation as reverse cam $96.95
    Machine work: both bored .030, decked, align bored, honed with torque plates, cam bearings installed, pistons hung, 1 crank turned .010/.010, all balanced $1,500.00
    2 pair of reworked heads 1.94/1.60 SS valves 3 angle grind, new springs, keepers, retainers $400
    2 sets Osco Crusader replacement manifolds, risers, elbows $900.00
    2 fresh water cooling kits $900.00
    2 marine starters rebuilt $120.00
    2 marine alternators rebuilt $150.00
    2 carburetor rebuild kits $65.00

    1 new Crusader 330 5.7 around $7,000.00
    All parts from Summit Racing except for reverse rotation cam from Marineparts.com, manifolds from small co. in PA (can't find reciept, but found them online easily enough) Same for FWC kits. Starters and alternators rebuilt courtesy of Corpus Christi Battery. Many thanks to Roger's Precision Machine for the fine machine work, and Harbor Engine and Grinding for the heads. Trannys only got a new coat of paint and an oil change because hey, Velvet Drives last forever! :D

    Oh, BTW, they're reliable as H#@!! :D (now if I could just afford those Holley marine EFI systems.) :(

    Oh, yeah, I/O for fresh water or trailered boat, V drive if she sets in the brine. :D
