    Hi everyone.
Very new here. I was hoping I could get some help on figuring out what kind of canoe I have on my hands. It was found hanging in the garage of the house I bought, alongside 4 strips of hardwood I am assuming were to be used for gunnels, and two LL Bean cane seats. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think. It is 17' long. I can find no ID number on it.

    Thanks for the help!

    Welcome to the forum.

looks home made, not a production "kit". There used to be fiberglass supply places that would rent molds of various objects to make things like small boats, hot tubs, car bodies, etc. It could be one of those. Also, sometimes boy scout troops would by one canoe, and than make a mold from it, and make several (or many) more from it, as part of a troop project. Giving them a fleet of canoes for taking on group outings.
