| gelcoat or epoxie over glass Im building a 32 ft spencer boat shes faired and glassed and ready; my intention is to gelcoat the hull ,,barriercoat and then bottom paint ,Is epoxie better than gelcoat? |

| Epoxy might be better underwater due to its superior water barrier properties, but if you use it topsides then you need to paint over it. UV will destroy it. |
