Fiber glass repair question

Hi

I have a boat that I am trying to repair. It HAD a crack running 90 degrees across a lifting strake.

It seems there was a substantial air void in the strake from when the hull was laid up with no putty or fillers in the void area and has some delamination. The cracked started right at a bulk head inside the hull that has created a hard spot.

My question is: there is no access from inside the hull due to huge center console, decking and a false subfloor. The crack has been ground out and it has opened a silver dollar sized hole in the bottom of the hull.

Would you feel comfortable making a repair entirely from the underside of the hull.

Thank you
