Ferrrocrete/Cement Boat Building and Marina Laws

I was hoping to find more information on ferrocrete boats and the laws of the marina's. I read most won't accept them. Is this true?

Is there such a thing as copper gridwire for the form? I'm sure that would be way too expensive. They say the metal gridwire rots and causes problems with the boat. Stainless steel should be good?

Also what do they mean by metal staples when they mix them in with the ferrocrete? They make canoes like this, but what are they and are they important in mixing the concrete?

If anyone knows anything about cement/ferrocrete boats, please let me know.
