I had some negative response when I said "dont mix up polyester and epoxy" and it seems like that epoxy can be used on "everything" but never use polyester on epoxy!. However, scrub the surface down a bit to get good bounding! Good luck!

Yep, epoxy on polyester, but not polyester on epoxy.

Kinda like you can prick your finger, but ...
