Converting Chris Craft floor shifter for use with hydraulic transmission

There was a thread that discussed fabricating detents for the old floor shifters from the 40's and 50's for use with Hydraulic Transmissions. I'm restoring a 1956 Contintental and will be installing a velvet drive transmissiion. Are there any schematic drawings avaliable detailing how to add detents to the old shifter body. Thanks for any info on this topic that anyone can provide.
