| Carbon Ski Nautique Project Instead of buying the latest and greatest I tore into my boat, stripped out a hundreds of pounds of ridiculous interior fluff and replaced with Carbon fiber parts (motor box, swim platform, floor panels, interior panels)... with excellent results. My goal is to get the wakes dead flat. In reducing weight through the use of Carbon Fiber, performance jumped to. Speed, acceleration and reduced fuel costs. Looking for more ideas to flatten the wakes further - extend the transom a bit ? I could make a carbon hull extension pretty easy. Here's a sampling of some vids /pix of the project I did. http://twitpic.com/2pmy9f http://twitpic.com/2mbrww http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbNfvcl1VGA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoWBXhhT27E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79QZG8evN1I |
