Casey,Kurt Hughes is a proponent of cylinder molded plywood construction and has used it as a way of building one off female molds to layup composite hulls in,it may be a better option than the plaster.If you want to build the hulls in composites you will be wanting him to give you a layup schedule anyway so id suggest talking to him about how well the cylinder molded plywood molds worked out.Good luck.

Try making the boats in strip planking method, very fast, accurate, incredibly strong....I can see no reason not to do so for 3 boats. If you were to go into production, then yes make a mould, but strip planking in cedar is fast and easy. Epoxy sheathed to finish it all off.
