Why dont you try an aluminum boat?

Id you reside in west coast, I can introduce you a couple of aluminum boat builders in british columbia that use the same computer 3D- design.

I was crew onboard a Roberts 53 for the TransPac - great
boat and great ride. We came in 2nd in class out of 9 boats, so
performance was just fine (though the crew had something to
    do with it :)

I would sail it anywhere in the world.

    BR Voyager 450

We are building for our customer BR Voyager 450 (he decided to steel but oneoff GRP is also considerable). He is going also to sail arround the world. This is safe boat.
