Bob Sherbert Correction

My Father finished the 7th grade and left Mainland in the 8th grade as he got into trouble defending his younger sister. But his education continued for the next 60 years, as he had so much natural intelligence, he continued to learn and to teach anyone that was willing to listen, or was privileged to be around him, I was truly blessed to be close to him and work with him, and yes being a female, he would only teach you so much, he had a very high opinion of women and he was proud of that, I growled at him and told him he was shovenistic, he would raise his brow and I would go back into my office.
He was loved and will be missed.

43' Daytona

Dear Mrs. Smith,

I recenty purchased a 42' Daytona Sprotfisherman that I htink may have been built by your father. Please excuse my ignorance but I don't know much about Daytona's or your father yet. I am trying to learn. Is there any place I can get information on the company and your father? Is the compant still in eistance? There is a gentleman named Bruce that apparently worked with your father on this site. I have sent him an email but have not received a reply yet. I have been told that the boat I purchased was built for Charlie Johnson from Palm Beach. My intention is to restore this boat and the more I can find out the better.

Thank you.

Hi Glenn,

Unfortuantely at the present time I have been unable to secure the Daytona and it looks as though it may take quite some time. However, I am still fastenated by the make and would be happy to help in anyway I can. I have been contated by several Daytona owners as a result of this post and we may be able to all work togetehr to keep this make alive.

Glenn,

I have turned a few Daytona owners on to the MSN group Rybovichboats.com. This is a fantastic site. a lot of the memebers are in the custom boat building business in Southern Florida and are extremely knowledgeable. I recently turned a Daytona 50 owner that lives in Tasmania Australia on to the site. You will even be able to post pictures of your boat. I would love it if you would emeil me some before and after shots of your boat. I'm going to keep trying to acuire the Daytona. It is caught up in a legal battle and you know how that goes. so well see what happens.

Donovan
