With all due respect, while it looks like you have an interesting and capable capacity, you will need to gain the trust of people visiting your ‘Web store’. One key aspect of that will be the quality of your site, especially the spelling and grammar. Another angle will be to provide lots of background information (text and pictures) about your company, its production methods, suppliers, past clients, and, of course about yourself ;-)
I wish you great success!

Hi Luke,
I would be interested in seeing a post describing how bronze screws are made. I have some notions but they are probably none too accurate. I think this might interest a lot of other folks too.
Thanks,
Gilbert

Sure sounds like a good idea sorry about my Grammar LOL but oh well i am planning on so small video clips of the machines actually cutting the threads and i will put them up on the website. after new years most likely. as for a description as to how their made ill do my best
The screws start as bare wire on a coil, there is a picture of the wire here http://www.oemfasteners.net/My_Homepage_Files/Page3.html IF you look at that link you can see what we call stems of wire in out stock room. the wire is carried by size in diameter. for instance a #10 wood screw would have a diameter of about .187 so wire about .001 to .002 will work great for that size. the coil is fed into a cold heading machine which strightens the wire and cut of a exact length. the that is placed in a die that looks like the opposite of the screw only with out any threads. the machine uses two hits for control the wire and fill the die. like a flat head which after the machine drops it dont look much diffrent then a tinners rivet smooth shank no threads but the head is formed either flat with no drive to be slotted or with a square drive phillips or any other you choose. ill try to get some pictures up on the site to show all this. then the screw is ready to be cut threaded. which is very cool to watch i will get a video. the machine works like an automatic lathe holds the screw bu the head and points it like a pencil sharpener the cut the threads with as the screw spins making serveral passes down its length onto the point. and there you have it the need to be cleaned and final QC but thats about it. over simplfied and hard to describe. but hope it helps a little atleast thanks for asking ill post the link when i get the videos up thanks
