I am looking for a source for handles/hand-holds (non-commercial quantities; I only need three). The application is to affix them to the reverse transom of a sailboat. Each handle would be a 'single' handle-size of bent tubing with a flanged base. (I'd like the flange to be welded to the handle, not a separate flanged socket into which a handle is bolted)
Because of the reverse transom, I would like to find handles that have a flange that is at an angle other than 90-degrees to the tube (i.e. so that the handle, when attached, is horizontal despite the slope of the transom).
I would think that there would be manufacturers making handles with some stock variety of angles - doesn't have to be perfect. If not, I'll go to the machine shop.
Anyone know of a source? -if not for angled ones, for a source of handles generally that might give me a starting point?
Thanks for any suggestions-
