I have admired Ken Hankinson's Coastal Cruiser for quite some time, and was ready to purchace plans, when I discovered that Ken has retired and his plans are no longer available. I would like some help finding plans or an alternate design. I have found two simular plans that I don't like (Glen-L Hercules and CMD
Trailer Trawler).
My objectives are to have a maximum trailerable trawler, to transport to different cruising grounds during retirement (in 10 yrs.).
I want comfortable accomadations for two. w/ head, shower, galley etc
I want something that is capable of cruising the inside passage to Alaska, Puget
Sound, The Bahamas, The Florida Keys, The Great Lakes and the ICW.
I don't know if anything is available that will fill that bill.
These plans could be built as 25' or 27' (I prefer 27')
Any Ideas and help is greatly appreciatedhttp://www.boatdesign.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3798&stc=1

Hello...

Not to pump the competition - and I am not really fond of the overall look - but these guys are building in the same marina and have pushed out a very compact boat - yet something that looks well built and bright inside - a very liveable little 'trawler'...

Don't tell my boss...
