Hiring Naval Architect

A Boat Manufacturer of small and medium sized motor boats is seeking candidates to compliment its existing engineering department in New Orleans, LA. A qualified candidate will have 5-10 years experience in engineering systems and structures for aluminum and composite boats. BS or MS in NAME/ME or equivalent. Familiarity with ABS rules, Algor, SolidWorks, Rhino, MS Office, hydraulics and electronics a plus. Responsibilities will include supervising draftsmen, interfacing with manufacturing, meeting with clients, designing boat structures, systems, and manufacturing schemes.
Must be able to obtain security clearance. Drug test required.
