Some hints on the correct stability assessment:

In modern day naval architecture the stability is evaluated against certain criteria such as IMO (MCA have only copied IMO) navy criteria or whatever.

Those criteria are are defined as limits. (For example that the initial GM shall exceed 0.15m) The evaluation agains those criteria is executed by means of the limit/attained command.

I suggest you check the very valuable manual that comes with AHydro. I guess this "has gotten lost" with your version of the programme?

At the risk of pissing people off:

GHS and Autohydro are not particularly intuitive programs. Assesments of a vessels stability isn't an excercise that should be taken lightly. It is more then a game at beating the rules of the government body or classification society. Depending on the ship or boat your evaluating, lives at sea may be placed at risk.

Get some training with the software package you are using. AutoShip and GHS both offer training. Many have learned these packages with a mentor or experienced user which is great, but if you don't have those resources, you need to get some formal training.

The good people on this bulletin board will do the best to help out with specific problems, but they can't look over your shoulder and see the whole 'run' file, see how it is organized, etc., see if your results are going to make sense.

Enough said (at least by me!)
