Mono Hull "Vee-Bow" or Pontoon?

Another question...
Any thoughts on what is better? Mono Hull "Vee-Bow" type or pontoon out of aluminum?

I am starting the design for a trailerable houseboat, approx 28'-30' long X 8'6" wide (May add folding wings for walkway on sides).
Mostly to be used in fresh water for leisure, I realize that the mono may have more capacity, but pontoons should have enough (I still need to do the calcs), just overall does one stand out over the other for stability, durability, controllability, etc.
Open to any and all suggestions

You can use three pontoons for more floatation.

I like the idea of folding wings.
