I WAS OFFERED A 1975 PACEMAKER CHEAP,I HAVE BIG PLANS BUT BEFORE I START DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE HULL USES CORE MATERIAL(BALSA).ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW THE WEIGHT.

I don't think so. Make sure you check the transom for rot - a lot of Pacemakers have rot problems I believe.

Cracking, crazing, or blistering?

Any chance you can have a look by removing a thru-hull or exhaust fitting and also where drain holes are bored in stringers?

I picked up the hull and decided to start pullingout the power,Now i want to know if 175 hp 6.9 liter internationals will be enough power.The hull origionaly had 220hp gas motors.I estimate that the boat is about 12000lbs.

Personally I would put in more power first off the engines will work less thus saving feul and saving engine life

i obtained two 6.5 L turbos good for 240 hp . is this enough ? The trans ratios are 1.9 to 1 how do I estimate speed

To get an estimate of the speed with any degree of accuracy it is important to use the correct constant. If you know how the boat performed with the old motors, or if you can find out some performance figures from someone with the same boat then you can rearrange the formula to find the constant, then recalculate using your new engines. It is absolutely necessary to use the shaft horsepower of the motors, not the bhp when making the calcs.
If you can't get accurate figures from another boat the same, then you will have to estimate the constant by looking at boats of similar form and configuration as yours.
