Want to learn

Hello everyone,
I want to learn about power boats and sail yachts. I am currently sailing a hobie tiger catamaran and plan to purchase a yacht in the future. I would like to learn about the modern yachts because it is a subject that I am deeply interested in. Can anyone recommend any books or other resources that can asist me in the learning process? I would be very greatful for any advice on the subject

You could get "Priciples of Yach Design" by Lars Larsson. I think it is a good book to learn and it develops all of the topics to design a sailboat... it is interesting... Try to find it in amazon.com ... you could find there many other books which could help you..
