Vovlo 270/280 outleg

I have a 270 outleg on a 21 ft draco, I have a offer for a 280 outleg for the same boat, whould this give me a big improvment, what would the advantages be??. :) :)

Hi Gonzo,
This is a 1971 270 Volvo penta Aquamatic,that will only drive
in the down position.
The 280 thats on offer is from an amateur like myself ,its out of the boat
and in a workshop he thinks it will drive in the tilt position which appeals to me for entering my mooring area that is shallow and weedy.Its not convient for me to go see the leg at this time not that i'd know by looking at it,but a shallow drive appeals to me,even with the work in store.Thanks for your time &help.
