Autocad Lt 2002 vs. Inventor 5

Hi, My "friends" think that Autocad LT is better than Inventor 5 please give your opinion about which is better at building boat designs and plans/models.

AutoCAD is a dog.

For highly technical 3D work, Solidworks is the best. I also use form-Z, which is a brilliant program for modeling that needs to be turned into rendering. SketchUp is also an easy to use and inexpensive 3D program if you don't need fourteen-decimal point accuracy.
