hi
i just bought a very old fiberglass boat it is a delcraft. the transom is rotted . i would like to rebuild it. can anyone give me directions. i was thinking to cut it out then stitch a piece of marine plywood to the side walls then add thickened epoxy then cover the new wood with fiberglass and clear epoxy. but will it be stong enough to hold the motor , the side walls are not thick they appear to be thin fiberglass i think it is fiberglass it is not would. can anyone help explian if im onthe right course.
