Alright, before I get going, I would like to say I know what I am attempting is impossible, unwise, and hopeless.
With that out of the way, I need someone to point me in the right direction as to where i might find plans for a ship which remembles an old pirate ship. That is the easy part. The hard part is that it's a float for my high school homecomging, in about 5 weeks. Anyone got any pointers?
I must reiterate that I have no hope in this at all.

get to the library like gonzo said! I assume that it don't have to float, hopefully!
Get creative, and get your buddies to round up all the cardboard they can find
DIY stores have plenty and would be glad to get rid of the crap. or out behind malls .
Ask first.
find a good picture, and someone in drafting class, preferably a freshman he knows the conseqeunces if your a sophmore and above ,he'll meet the deadline, its good training.
scale the picture , use the grid system, I assume it will be on a trailer and still hoping it dont have to float.Or you will need some help. You can swim ?
Measure the trailer and scale to proportion.
Transfer the drawing in sections to the card board cut it out , find all the duct tape you can. and scrap wood to keep it together and get to work. its sounds like alot of fun. just paint .
Don't forget to cut the freshman some slack this year.
I accept no responsibilities for this undertaking.... have fun , be safe ,
and ..uhh... GOOD LUCK!
