i have two 2 hp weedwackers and am wondering if they will be strong enough to push a 8 ft pontoon boat through the water just pretty much as trolling motors, im not looking for speed.

Sure it will work, it will be noisy as hell, smelly, and not very maintenance friendly. Why not trade the two weed eaters for a trolling motor and battery, then you can enjoy your time on the water.

The search button will give you some more information but please don’t be offended when I say it’s not original or wise.
