i want to saw a new tent and think i can do it from ten cate's poly tent material.

question is: what is a good tent windows material?

remember reading somewhere it should hold lead? the original sunbrella tent windows are after some 15 year stil doing very well while a summertent that was made for 3500 bucks some 6 years back gave up completely in that time, having the windows shatter like mica completely. what window material i want?

Folks around here use stuff called Isinglass (sp?) It holds up well in the South Texas sun, so should give you no problems. But as all things good, it's PRICEY!!!! :D

Yipster,

Contact "Karsten Tenten" in Zwaag (NH).
They're making tents (to obvious!!!!) and used to make sprayhoods.
Pretty sure they can help.

Good luck
