I have designed a boat configured completly different from anything i have seen on this page or any other. Some are generally close but I am sure their cost is significant.

I won't use the words innovative or revolutionary, as i seen these words thrown around too much for simple designs that appear, to me, quite ordinary.

I can guarantee you it is different than anything you will encountered and would be practical to construct and sell in mass volume.

I have also designed a new propeller different than any other seen before. I have 3-dimensional cad drawings of the boat and propeller, and have constructed an approx 1\2 scale model.

I am wondering how to protect my proprietary rights to the design of the boat and propeller, and how to find an interested party to help me complete the design and testing to move into production. I am confident that this boat design would be very popular.

You have a great idea, and you ask your direct competition how to safeguard your rights?

I have no doubt that you will get some good advice here, but that's mostly because your claims sound pretty extravagent. Still, the deep-V, the windsurfer, and the jetski all seemed pretty extravagant, so maybe you are on to something.

I think you really want to see an intellectual property (patent & copyright) attorney. It's very difficult to dream up something that has never been tried by anyone, anywhere.
