I see some nice yachts in the builder's portfolio. Well, guess the owner will now need a new one, which is good for the industry. :p

That video about the rescue - at some point the CG rescue swimmer (RS) who jumped on board appeared to be in difficulty. He disappeared for some time after he got on board, and one of the crew was like helping him. Perhaps he was hit and injured by the rolling yacht while descending down? The next scene was showing the crew being rescued from the water, perhaps it was decided that landing RS on board again was too dangerous. The downwash from the helicopter's blades surely didn't make things easy for everyone.

Interesting that a new yacht can suffer such a catastrophic failure.

Would the flooded volume of the stern peak...toy garage ...be sufficient to sink the boat ?

Its AIS track had it in the Shipyard immediately before the sinking.

Shouldn't be so. And all the watertight doors of the toy garage should be closed during navigation anyways.

The still image at the start of the video and the other still photo on GCaptain.com show a helicopter, Yogi on it's side with orange figures aboard, and a life raft away already away from Yogi.
