There occurred a discussion in the "Metal BoatBuilding" section of this forum that I thought might be cross referenced to this materials section as I had not seen any reference to such a subject here.

: Have you ever had the occassion to consider the copper-nickle material??
....A third material that I would suggest looking at would be copper-nickel metal. Years ago there were a couple of commercial shrimpers built of this metal, and they faired very well I believe. I think they may even still be in service (40years now). I just did a quick look under Goggle and found
