Boat should have been called "Intrepid". A suicide machine if ever there was one......and claustrophobes, forget it !

looks like there might be room for 3!
but 13. untill now I didn't know I suffered from claustrophobia :eek:

Looks like Crew of eight.
Thirteen died between the two times it sank prior to its final mission in which eight died.
So 2.6 times the crew complement to test and use the sub once.

Biggest problem no ventilation... Really none, no power, so basically locking yourself in a metal drum.
