I see some of your Lagoon catamarans can be equipped with electric drive propulsion systems?....I read somewhere that this technology has been used in other manufacturing arenas and the U.S. military is using it as well...could you possibly outline any new information on this.....also, is it possible to have the electiric drive fitted in Privilege and Catana models....?

Actually, we have a Privilege 395 in inventory which is equipped with an electric motor. So, yes, the Privilege range is open to electric motor installations and we do foresee a number of other manufacturers allowing electric installations in the future.

At the moment, Solomon Technologies, owners of the technology, are doing new weekly installations of the electric motor.

You will be able to see Waypoint, an electric Lagoon 410 charter catamaran, at the upcoming Boat Shows. After nearly a year in use, she is in great condition.
