just looking for some different versions of how to build a plywood bulkhead in a steel haul yatch i know how to fasten it and such just looking for options on how thick it should be and what would be the best materials to build it out of was think possibly 1/2 cherry ply sandwiching say a 2 + 2 which would make it about 3 inches thick what is the standard thickness for a bulkhead in a yatch

thanks everyone

Is this a partition or a structural/waterproof bulkhead?

The thickness for a partition depends on the free standing area. If it has some stiffeners like opening frames and cabinets attached to it, 1/2" is fine.
