(I mean "these")

Nr. 1

Dazcat 12R

Nr. 2

Spirited 380 Raceline

All comments are welcome. We want a "race" catamaran in this size, capable to sleep in the hulls but also serious blue water sailing. I guess the price will be simular for both. (only received from one manufacturer yet).

And if you know simular designs, you are welcome to tell me.

Welcome here.

Do you mean the open oceans when you say "blue water sailing"?

Both vessels are sure NOT designed for real cruising, let alone blue water cruising.

Though racing with them sounds interesting.

Thanks, no blue water was not the right words for it. But say, in the geographic area from sweden - uk and maybe around the corner in biscaya bay. Or some around britain race, perhaps.

But 90% we will see the coast, i hope :)

You might also want to consider the Radical Bay 1060 from Jeff Schionning - www.schionningdesigns.com.au.

I sail a lot on the smaller bi-mast 8m sister here in the quite tough waters around Cape Town and can only praise the sea-keeping qualities of this design!
