Hi, I'm new and glad to find your forum !
I'm building a 22' SISU lobster boat up from a hull and was considering a foam roof.
Figure It will be stiffer and require less stiffening than if I just glassed over 1/2" ply.
I'd also like the roof to support a persons weight.
Any suggestions as to thickness and density of foam and number of coats of structural or vector ply glass on each side. I think roof size will be ~ 7x8'
also might consider doing the cabin with foam as well.
money is VERY tight.... so cost is major factor and I might just finish in 1/2"cdx .
There are great builders here who can advise me but I do appreciate any feedback from you as well.
