ATH is a common material in mold construction. It limits shrinkage in polyester resins. All rapid tooling systems are full of it.

A suggested layup:

-tooling gelcoat
-vinylester with low tex CSM (2 layers)
-rapid tooling system, follow procedure of manufacturer, or use low shrink polyester mixed 1:1 with ATH
-topcoat (please do protect the ATH filled resin from moisture)
