Kerala is a small state in the southern tip of India with a coast running along the entire length of the state. In the interiors it is blessed with one of the most enchanting backwaters. It is included in the list of one of the ten places in the world you must visit in your lifetime. The house boats of Kerala are of international fame. Though there are any many country made boats and canoes. There is no really organized leisure boating culture or boat building business here. Boat building here is mainly cornered around deep sea fishing and few river boats for transport and tourism. Kochi also called Cochin is the commercial capital of Kerala and is a fast growing city with many recent boating activities taking place here. Kochi was a stopover for the recent Volvo ocean race. There is an international marina project on the anvil and the construction is starting soon. Boating is definitely going to come up in a big way and I am looking for a partnership with real professionals with whom we can discuss further projects.
