Advice on false floor w/pics...

Basically Im attempting to put a false floor in a Gheenoe. So far Ive layed up a 82" x 16" sheet of glass. 2 layers of 1708 backed with 6oz tape.

Ive also layed up a set of 10" stringers that consist of 3 layers of 1.5oz CSM and poly. I plan on laying up at least 2 more (a total of 4).

I plan on running the stringers down the middle. Then pouring 4# foam down the sides. Once all is dry Im going to flatten it all out and lay the sheet of glass over the top.

Heres my questions:

What adhesive to bond the glass to the hull? I was thinking 5200 with epoxy microballoon filets.

Should I add a few more layers of glass to the sheet I layed up?

As far as the stringers go..... should I add them the entire length of the glass. Or just several, evenly spaced, small ones?

Any advice or is there anything Im over looking?

You can buy 1/8" fiberglass sheets at Home Depot. Use fiberglass tape on the sides, and then pour two part foam in the center. It has enough compression strength. You are overengineering the project.

Is you boat/canoe made of plastic? -looks like some sort of polypropelene to me, in which case you have no choice but to use epoxy to bond. Make sure you key up the area you wish to bond to quite rough otherwise it wont stick. You might have issues with sticking properly anyway, especially if there is a lot of flexing as there probably will be on a false floor.

Its all fiberglass. The flex is whats concerning me. Im going to use 5200, 4200, and epoxy for any bonding that I have to do.

I have plenty of experience with fiberglass, unfortunately none of it was boat building....... Which is why Im asking you guys for help.
