We're trying to figure out what this is. Please, be kind! A man from the UK owns it and is lovingly restoring it. Aesthetically, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. We're just looking for any potential clues.
To me, it looks french. A Cousin to the Tiburon. But that can't be right.

Thanks.

It is similar to a Newbridge in hull shape. The bilge keels are very similar. Above the rub rail, not so similar. Check out this site: http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=211260

I'm guessing this thing is from the 1960's. Don't think any the of newbridge models were that early. It's less than 20' long. Looks like an Alacrity sort of, except for the coachroof.
Thanks for your help.

What is the hull construction?

He didn't say specifically, but seems unlikely that it's anything other than FRP. I could be wrong. But I'm assuming that the hull and deck, at least, were molded and that more than one was built.
Located in the UK, which leads me to believe it is of English or French origin.
At first I thought it might be something from Tylercraft, but I don't think any of those ever went overseas.
Beyond that, no other clues at the moment.
No manufacturers label or hull number has been discovered.
I'm looking into this as a favor to the owner, but mainly because I'm interested in this kind of thing. (some have has suggested 'therapy')
Thanks for your interest.
