I have been slowly been fixing up my 1981 20ft Wilson Boat. It is about time to replace the window rubber that seals the windows in. I have tried many boat builders in my area and they are un-willing to give me any info.

The boat is made out of 1/2 inch fiberglass plywood and 1/4 pane auto glass. I have seen some boats with the 1 inch rubber seals which look rather nice.

I know I can get custom aluminum windows, but I don't want them I just want the rubber seal gasket..

Thank in advance,

Larry

I would go to your local glass shop that replaces auto windshield and check with them. Make sure the product is waterproof.

Rasoninc, Yes, I did that already and no one carries it. What is up with that?? The problem is the 1/2 fiberglass to plywood cabin to 1/4 inch glass.

Delta Marine Industries, Seattle, WA.. Ask for Ed Vacura or Chuck Albertson. They will send you to the right place. I think the manufacturer is in Oregon but I couldn't come up with it. Sorry.

I was trying to find him a local manufacturerer. I actually bought some custom white (I feel that black looks like 'coon eyes) from a plant in Oregon at one time. When Delta used to make charter boats, Goodrich or Goodyear or somebody such in Oregon made the rubber.
