Must be US citizen be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Investigation
Works independently (with minimal supervision), or on project teams
Interfaces with client at peer level
Lead small electrical engineering project teams, if required
Manage cost, schedule and technical product development
Supervise junior staff on projects or teams
Performs quality assurance reviews of complex analyses, calculations and drawings developed by junior and mid-level staff
Perform calculations applying electrical engineering principles, techniques, procedures and criteria
Prepare technical reports or other engineering documentation
Prepare technical purchase specifications for major machinery control system equipment Develop test procedures to ensure equipment and system performance
Assist with shipboard automation, control, generation and power distribution systems testing
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering
At least 8 years of professional engineering experience in the design and/or design evaluation of US Navy shipboard Machinery Control Systems
Automation and control systems test experience desirable
Automation and control systems programming experience desirable
